Can I get paid cashback under $1?
No. Venmo does not allow transfers below $1. Once your cashback balance reaches $1 or more, we’ll automatically send you the full amount owed.
Why are cashback percentages different at each restaurant?
Cashback rates vary by restaurant and by whether it’s your first visit or a repeat visit. Always check the Nora app to see the exact percentage before you order.
What if I didn’t receive my cashback?
If you’re missing a reward, upload your receipt in the cashback section of the app (with restaurant name, date, and total amount clearly shown) or email info@norahealth.ai.
Where do I upload my receipt, and why might it be rejected?
Upload receipts from the banner on your Cashback page. Rejections happen if the restaurant isn’t a partner, or if the receipt is missing key info like restaurant name, date, or total. Tap the declined transaction for the specific reason.
How does cashback work?
When you pay with your linked card at a Nora partner restaurant, we automatically detect the purchase. Cashback is then calculated on your subtotal (before tax and tip) and sent directly to your Venmo.
Why is my cashback different from what I expected?
Cashback is rewarded from the subtotal of your transaction only — sales tax, tip, and delivery fees aren’t included.
Do I need to upload a receipt to get cashback?
No — when you pay with a linked card, Plaid automatically reports qualifying transactions. Uploading a receipt is optional, but it can speed things up if your purchase hasn’t been detected yet.
How long does it take to receive cashback?
Most transactions are registered on our end within 12–24 hours, and payouts are sent within another 12 hours. Some banks take longer to confirm, but uploading a receipt can speed things up.
Does the promo expire, or is there a minimum spend?
Yes, some promos have an expiration date. Check the details in your app or from your promo email. There is no minimum spend on promos.
My friend signed up but I didn’t get my reward — what should I do?
Ask your friend to confirm they used your code. If they did, it can take time for our system to detect that they’ve signed up with your referral link or made a first purchase. If you still don’t see the reward after 36 hours, reach out to us at info@norahealth.ai.
How do I refer a friend?
Find your referral link in the cashback section of the app, share your referral link to friends.
How do I get my $10 from referring a friend?
You’ll get $5 when your friend signs up and another $5 when they complete their first purchase.
What does “up to $15” mean?
It’s the maximum bonus you can earn. If your order is less than $15, your reward matches what you spent (e.g., spend $10, get $10). To receive the full $15, your order total needs to be at least $15.
How do welcome promos and email promos work?
Welcome promos show as a banner in your Home tab — tap it once to activate. For restaurant-specific email promos, there’s nothing to do: they’re applied automatically to your next eligible transaction at that partner.
I’m trying to link my card and it’s not working. What do I do?
Email info@norahealth.ai with your full name, the bank you’re trying to connect, and any error message/screenshots so we can help troubleshoot.
How do I link my Venmo to receive cashback?
In Settings → Cashback Provider, select Venmo, enter your account details, and your cashback will be sent directly.
How do I link my card or payment method?
Go to Settings → Payment Methods in the Nora app, then connect your debit or credit card through Plaid. You can connect multiple cards and bank accounts.
I don’t want to link my bank — can I still use Nora?
Yes, but without linking, we can’t detect your purchases automatically. You can still upload receipts to receive cashback.
What is Plaid and how does it work?
Plaid is the secure service we use to connect your bank or card to Nora. It verifies purchases at partner restaurants so you earn cashback automatically. Plaid never shares your bank login credentials with us.
